Main inspiration for interactive architecture from the bone and the flesh:

If we consider the bones as a medium to support the flesh. The flesh contains all the nervous endings gaining information about its surroundings. The flesh moves around the bones gaining an ability to reach further and be interactive with its surrounding by interaction with it. If we consider the bones as robots and the flesh as an projective medium we could consider it as immersive space.

First we have to define the bones: I like to use interactive panels as seen in Portal 2. Its fully interactive helping its users or as shown in the move crushing its users... Moods?

The panels could also be used to be interactive in a way of displaying holograms.
