DO WE KNOW HOW TO SIT DOWN, ANYMORE?
IDEOLOGY
Are we still supposed to be sitting on a Thonet chair (1859), that has been designed for our way before the digital era?
What do we expect of our furniture today?
How do we adapt to todays fast moving ideas and moods?
Can my Thonet be a little bit more more than just a piece of wood?
Could it interact with me as a user better than just exist by being placed at a spot?
What happens when it is better to sit on a table than on a chair?
WHAT IF...?
... we do not know how to use our furniture anymore?
... our chair in no longer a piece of dead wood standing in a corner waiting for us to manipulate with it?
... our floor and/or walls became the furniture we need?
... a chair becomes a bench, no... a lounge chair... sofa... no... how about it is just a wall?
... we are not the one who decides whether to sit down, lay down, lean or just simply stand?
